Sad Day: Balls security guard collapses to death whiles on duty - CCTV footage confirms
Euawour Fuseini, the security guard for Balls Pub and drinking bar, has been confirmed dead this morning after collapsing on duty yesterday evening. Euawour was rushed to the Hopes Clinic in Pankrono Estate Market yesterday evening after he collapsed in front of the pub.
He was referred to the KATH emergency centre at six in the evening when Hopes clinic couldn't stabilise his condition. He was admitted to the KATH emergency hospital yesterday around seven in the evening but was pronounced dead this morning when the wife was going to check upon him.
Euawour Fuseini left behind numerous friends, a wife, and three children. He will be buried this evening after doctors are through with their examination. The family plans to give him a befitting Muslim burial without any delays. If everything should go as planned, Euawour Fuseini should be buried before five in the evening.
Cause of death and matters arising
Euawour Fuseini has been working as the daytime security guard for Balls Pub since its opening in 2017. He has been with the company for almost four years now and has never had any problems despite his stressful work.
Euawour walked to his job yesterday with a cheerful heart and a fancy face but couldn't return home alive. Emaama Sakinatu, the wife of Euawour Fuseini, narrated that, nothing was wrong with her husband before leaving home in the morning for work.
Euawour was at work in the evening, around four when he suddenly fell in front of the pub. From CCTV footage shown, he was walking in the direction of the Car Park in front of the pub when he fell. Nobody knew what happened to him until the camera watched man, Evans Fogie came out of the pub to check what was going on.
Evans who watches over the CCTV cameras at the Balls Pub was amazed to see how Euawour Fuseini has been on the ground without waking up and rushed out of his desk to check what was wrong with him. Euawour Fuseini was shaking on the ground when Evans touched him, and that was when they knew something bad was wrong with him.
The manager of the pub, Mr Kofie Bandoh, used his pick truck and together with Evans, they rushed Euawour Fuseini to the Hopes Clinic which was few kilometres away from the pub. Hopes clinic couldn't sustain the suffering of Euawour and called for an ambulance which transported Euawour from the Hopes Clinic to KATH emergency centre last night.
Euawour Fuseini could not survive after been stabilised and died early this morning. He was confirmed dead around five in the morning when the wife Sakinatu went to check on him on his bed.
Though nothing has been confirmed now to be the cause of death, but the family believe it is connected to heart failure since it was the same way Euawour Fuseini's father died. Whether the family is right or not, a doctor's report would have to confirm that and it will be only after that report, the cause of death can be confirmed.
Euawour Fuseini was a Muslim and would be buried as such without any delays. The hospital is expected to hand over the body to the family after their examination, and it will be after that, the family will proceed with his burial.
