The armed robbers in recent times have turned their focus to mobile money vendors, robbing them in broad daylight as it occurred in the western Region. A robber commits this dangerous crime because he or she believes that their profit will be worth the risk. By decreasing the possible profit and increasing the risk of apprehension, potential victims can reduce their chance of becoming a target. In his Narration to the media, the gentleman requested an identification card from the robbers when all of a sudden they pulled a gun on him and requested that he gives them his money. He reluctantly refuse and that led to a scuffle. They overpowered him and in fleeing with his money bag, he shouted to raise an alarm. The robbers turned and shot him on the thigh. He is currently receiving treatment at the EffiaNkwata Regional hospital.
