According to the media house, government has announced plans to introduce electric buses into the system so that prices of transportation will be at a minimal rate. Also due to the high fuel costs in the country, the government has plans to help Ghanaians by introducing electrical buses. With the electrical buses in the country, one will have nothing to worry about air pollution by some faulty vehicles.
Ghanaians have reacted massively to this and below are some comments.
From the reactions on social media, some Ghanaians seem to be very happy about this positive initiative. They believe that it will help Ghanaians utilize other sources of energy for their cars aside fuel. Others, however do not trust the government on this. They believe that the electricity in the country is not stable for such initiative. Others believe that this initiative will never come to pass unless the state has enough resources for such policy.
