Man climbs high voltage transmission lines that supply electricity from Ghana to Burkina Faso.

A youngman miraculously got on high tension cables that run from Ghana to Burkina Faso. The cables which supply electricity to Burkina Faso normally have voltages in excess of 1500V.

In a video that has been circulating online since yesterday the 2nd of June 2021, the man according to an eyewitness has been implored for well over two hours to come down from the transmission lines but to no avail. He kept on doing a series of antics on the cables to the amazement of the crowd watching him from below.

While he was being engaged to get down, a jolt of electric current sent him flying to the ground. He broke his left foot which angled obscuredly. The spectators are then heard telling him to be calm and that emergency services have been called to the scene. One can see the agony etched on his face as he held his broken leg upward to try and ease some of the pain.

Whispers among the spectators indicate the man may be mentally disturbed.
