The managing editor for insight news paper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr has reacted to Ejura Committee of Enquiry report on Kaka Mohammed's death. Kwesi Pratt Jnr has stated that the report is not fair at all and it's a clear way to use the police commander in charge of Ejura police station as escape goat.
Kwesi Pratt Jnr speaking on peace FM morning show hosted by Kwame Sefa Kayi today said that why should the committee blamed the police commander for knowing that there are a lot of challenges at Ejura when it comes to security issue?
He stated that it's not fair at all and he don't understand why the innocent police commander should be transferred from his post.
According to him, if top committees at Ejura municipality couldn't handle the issue why should they blame the police commander who is taking orders above?
Kwesi Pratt Jnr said this is a clear failure of government to provide adequate needs for people at Ejura as the committee recommended that there should be enough police officers at Ejura and expansion of police facility in the area.
Kwesi Pratt Jnr raised a lot of questions on the show which became debate between him and Kwame Sefa Kayi but it ended him being understood.
According to Kwesi Pratt Jnr's reactions, the police commander could have been maintained at post because government has failed the people of Ejura based on the recommendations from Ejura Committee of Enquiry.
