The Vice President donated a sum of GH¢ 20,000 to bereaved families whereas an amount of GH¢ 10,000 was handed to those who had sustained gunshot injuries as a result of the incidents which happened earlier this week.
While many see the step taken by the Vice President to be a good one, others were not pleased with the move of the second gentleman of the land. Many expressed their views and opinions on the visit of the Vice President when the Vice President took to his Facebook page to share the occasion (visit to Ejura).
Some people commended the Vice President for the move and for showing a sense of care for the affected victims. There were others who also expressed concerns stating that the situation could have been averted if he [the vice president together with the president] had tackled the situation at the beginning stages when the death of the social activist occurred and thus the amount donated cannot bring the perished people back to life.
