This has gotten a lot of reactions from Ghanaians especially the celebrities, as they plead with the court to set her free.
Kwame A-Plus, who is a politician wrote on his Instagram page that, the court should leave Poloo alone and he always disagrees with the law arresting and jailing poor people for petty crimes. And leaving the real criminals to walk around freely and even continue to steal with impunity.
Bridget Otoo also reacted to this issue and posted on her Twitter page that, NAM1 is still free and doing Instagram posts. A man described by the state as a scammer. A man who’s actions has killed people, rendered thousands of people jobless and some are even at the point of suicide. And yet he is a free man because he is connected. Meaning Akuapem doesn’t have any connections that’s why she is being convicted.
Captain Planet is commented on this issue and said that, the suit and tie criminals are walking around town drinking champagne without being prosecuted. He also wrote that, the court should leave Akuapem Poloo alone and arrest the kidnappers, armed robbers and serial killers threatening lives.
