Armed robbers return booty after their victim rained curses on them. The issues of robberies are becoming rampant in our country these days. This was reported yesterday on UTv midday news.

Recently an MCE was attacked at gunpoint and his car was snatched.

Robbers also shot through an ambulance carrying a pregnant woman and killed the driver.

There have also been many recorded robberies on the Bolgatanga highways. Two weeks ago, the driver of a truck carrying tomatoes was murdered during a robbery attack while another carrying bags of cement was attacked and killed on the same day, on the Pwalugu Stretch of the Bolgatanga-Tamale highway

This particular victim was attacked and looted of all his belongings. The incident took place in Wa.

He later reported the case to the police for the robbers to be arrested and brought to book. The pursuit of his assailants was taking too long so he resulted to curses.

The robbers upon hearing what the man had done returned the booty nicodemously.

It seems this should be the way to go to prevent such events from reoccurring.

What do you make of the act of the Victim?

Should robbery victims result in the traditional way of seeking justice? Or they should rely on the police to do their jobs.
