A video has been spotted on social media showing an excavator destroying a big land of a cocoa plantation. According to the footage, a company that sells gravel and sand has built a structure next to the cocoa plantation. If you look attentively at the footage, you can see that they have destroyed half of the cocoa plantation.
Those destroying the cocoa plantation told the owner of the cocoa plantation that the company belongs to a brother of Ghana's Vice President, His Excellency Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. This was revealed by the guy who filmed this video.
The picture above shows the part of the cocoa plantation destroyed by this company. According to the video recorder, the owner of the cocoa plantation is just a poor woman. As a result, the firm refuses to listen to her when she tries to persuade them to stop damaging her cocoa farm. The picture below shows the woman standing in the compound of the company talking but nobody is listening to her.
The video recorder, therefore, pleaded with Onua TV Maakye host, Godsbrain Blessed Smart, popularly known as Captain Smart to speak on this woman's behalf because she doesn't have anyone solve this issue for her.
