An accident which occurred on the Sefwi Wiawso to Asawinsa road in the western region in the early hours of Friday, May 20th 2022 has claimed two lives including the driver of the vehicle.
The VIP bus with registration number ER 9955 -16 is said to have crashed into an uncompleted storey building whiles the driver is negotiating a sharp curve.
In an interview with Adom FM's Augustine Boah, the passengers on board the bus said the driver has been on his phone since their departure from Accra because he had a lot of parcels to deliver. This they believed could have taken his mind off the road leading to the accident.
Other passengers who are on board sustained various degrees of injuries and are currently receiving treatment at the Asafo hospital whiles the driver and one other passenger were pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Kindly leave a word of sympathy to the injured and the deceased as well. Follow my page for more interesting news and updates. Share with friends and family to educate them. Thank you for reading.
