13 year old asthmatic girl dies on her way from school.

Just today, after the morning show, my boss had to drive all the way from Top Hill to Kentinkrono Goil to fuel his car. Meanwhile, there is a Goil fuel station at Maxima. 

You know why? there was an incident at Oforikrom causing traffic that stretched for almost 4km from the Multimedia School at Oforikrom till Tech Police station roundabout. No car was moving. Imagine the worse in such a situation, health emergency, terror attack, etc. Just imagine that magnitude of possible harm. 

All this risk because Kumasi linking and adjoining roads are unmotorable. Pothole-ridden. Take Pokuase alone, now, with the interchange, you can like to Awoshie, Darkuman or come directly to Accra. Kumasi die3, just 1 highway, the Osei-Tutu II Boulevard. If Anloga Junction blocks, almost 30 to 40% of Kumasi activity, business inclusive comes to a standstill. 

Now go to Lake Road. We always say we have no place to chill. We have the beautiful Lake Bosomtwe here with people having invested million in recreational facilities around the Lake but you can't use the road without risking an asthmatic attack or catarrh. It's dustier than the Kalahari and Sahara desert combined. Just recently, a 13-year old suffered an asthmatic attack and die because her school bus broke down on the stretch.
