We are almost entering the last phase of the first quarter of the year but the sad news is already coming from Accra, the capital city and this news haas really got people talking. However, it is not something we don’t know about because we are gradually getting close to the rainy season.
It all happened today after a heavy downpour which lasted for about an hour in some part of Accra. The over one hour downpour has displaced sellers, residents and commuters people around the Kwame Nkrumah Circle Interchange and adjoining communities.
However, this has become a yearly occurrence and there has not been much done to control or to put an end to this kind of sad flood from happening.
A lot of Ghanaians has not stop talking about the flood incidence that took place in Accra the capital city today. Some have come out to boldly criticize the government for not setting up a last solution that will eventually put an to this yearly flood in the Nation, most especially Accra.
In Achimota, many residents have been left stranded, with rubble washed onto the street.
A lot of people dashed to seek refuge under the Achimota overpass.
