Tetteh Quarshie – East Legon road ready to be shut down for 2 days.

The Tetteh Quarshie – East Legon road has been temporarily shut down to traffic for repairs and maintenances.

A statement from the Road Ministry through the Department of Urban Roads.

“The closure which began at midnight on Friday, October 15 will end at midnight on Sunday, October 16.

This is to allow the contractor to repair deteriorated sections of the road”

For moment, the Department of Urban Roads has urged motorists to follow the traffic diversion signs placed at various sections of the road while repairs are ongoing.

“Please bear with us as we strive to eliminate the bottlenecks in our traffic system,” the Department said in an October 12 announcement.

The public is therefore been informed to take notice of these changes as proper plans are been put in place to harmonize and ensure the smooth running of the Tetteh Quarshie- East Legon Road. Motorist are also advised to adhere to this important notice.
