Agradaa is hot again
Nana Agradaa, who faces multiple criminal charges in multiple courts, was arrested again after appearing in the Accra 4th District Court on Monday, January 16, 2023, according to the Oman Channel report.
The court stayed her case until Monday-Friday, January 20, 2023, but before Agradaa left the court, she was arrested by police in connection with another case.
The reason for her arrest is not yet clear, but Oman channel shared a video which shows Agradaa venting her frustration when she was taken away.
Last week, police asked the Accra District Court to issue an arrest warrant for Nana Agradar for failing to appear in court. At the District Court in Accra on Wednesday 10 January 2023.
Superintendent of police chief Sylvester Asare said that she was granted bail under conditions set by the court but she didn’t abide by the rules. It was difficult for her to comply with the court order.
Evangelist Nana Agradaa, aka Mama Pat, did not cooperate with police, according to prosecutors. Prosecutors argued that the only way to bring the accused to court was for the court to issue an arrest warrant.
The court denied the police's request, but warned Nana Agradar's attorney to advise her client.
Nana Agradaa has filed three separate lawsuits in her three district courts in Accra on various fraud charges due to false pretenses and fraudulent advertising in the media.
She is also on trial for her alleged role in the 2020 attack on the Prophet Akwasi Appiah.
