Ghana Drunkards Association to hit the streets, if FDA and GSA fail to address issue

Ghana Drunkards Association's president Moses Drybone has bemoaned regulators, Food and Drugs Authority and Ghana Standard Authority for killing his members.

The recent untimely death on Ghana Drunkards Association members is beyond the horizon of understanding and after series of investigation conducted.

It appears that most of the alcoholic beverages at the market has contributed immensely to the high death rate of Ghana Drunkard Association members as most of alcoholics doesn't meet their standard.

"they are killing my members due to the fact that most of the alcoholic beverages in the system now does not pass through the due process and vetting before approval".

He further added that, the consumption of alcohol by its members has played significant role in Ghana's economy and it has created thousands of job opportunities for most of the youths so the above mentioned institutions must ensure that any alcoholic beverage that comes to the market is well vetted before they approve it for their safety.

According to them, they will hit the street to register their displeasure and discontent if Food and Drugs Authority fails to address issues on alcoholic beverage that comes to the market pass through undue process before approval.
