Sad News For All Ghanaians; Another Fatal Accident Kills 3 ‘Innocent’ School Children At Koforidua

The recent heartbreaking news that has undoubtedly sparked massive stir, debates and arguments across all social media platforms is the untimely death of about 3 innocent school children at Koforidua in the Eastern region.

According to recent reports, the three school children who unexpectedly met their untimely death after a vehicle conveying them home collided head-on with an overtaking car have been identified as Jerry Quartey, Osten Kwaku and Albert Odame Sarfo who were all 7 years old.

The vehicle within which the school children were being transported in was an Almera Taxi Cab driven by one Atiemu Erasmus with registration number GS 5736-09 as it collided head-on with surprisingly an unregistered Toyota Camry which was also driven by the prime suspect, Penry Boahen.

The prime suspect, Penry Boahen who is a 24-year old man engaged in unnecessary overspeeding and wrong overtaking upon reaching Mampong Akuapem from Akropong direction.

Upon the unexpected accident, three of the school children lost their respective lives on the spot whilst two were quickly rushed to the Korle Bu Teaching hospital and Ridge hospital in Accra for further treatment.

Sadly, parents and relatives of the school children who met their untimely deaths upon hearing the heartbreaking news trooped to the accident scene in anxiety and anguish whilst others broke down in uncontrollable tears.
