The road has become a very busy recently as most motorists ply the road on daily basis. Vehicles traveling from Madina to Achimota also use this route on daily basis and more businessmen and women as well as government workers use the road everyday.
In recent time, the nature of the road has become very congested in such a way that the road requires a dual carriage road which can ease traffic on the road and allow motorists and other road users have easy access to the roads.
During weekends and occasionally that the Transition funeral homes is having any funeral event, the roads becomes very busy and congested in a way that one must spend close to an hour and a half on this short route.
It is very important important for the government to intervene and build a dual carriage road to help ease the traffic congestion on the road. Most at times, the Ministry of Roads and Transport usually sent officials to take measurements and mark the roads just to influence the people that something will be done on the road but nothing has been done.
The government should therefore bear in mind that, this same road leads to the just commissioned Pokuase interchange and it will be very advisable to increase the carriage on the road to reduce road traffic completely.
