Another accident has occurred in Ghana today in Bawku.
All the seven passengers sitting an Opel Zafira car with registration number UE 343-21 have got serious injuries in an accident at town called Zebilla in the Upper East Region.
Based on reports,the accident occurred in a head-on collision involving the Opel and a KIA truck with registration number GX 6122-20.
The accident is said to have occurred just opposite to the Bawku West District Assembly, this occurred when the Opel was travelling from Bawku to Bolga.
The KIA truck, according to who spoke to local-based Zebs FM, was travelling in the opposite direction.
The timely intervention of the Ghana Police Service led by the District Commander, ASP Jackson Kportufe, Ghana National Fiveg Service, and the National Ambulance Service saved the victims
Among the injured was a pregnant woman, who is said to have sustained multiple fractures on both legs.
They were rushed to the Zebilla Hospital District for treatment. Watch photo of the incident
