Several panelists in Ghana have discussed and complained on how the death rate resulting from road accidents in the country is over empowering the death rate from the deadly corona virus. Today, sad news hit the people of Ghana as another fatal accident occurred at the Asukawkaw mountains, Oti region. This accident occurred at dawn on the 25th August 2021.
The Chief Superintendent of that area, Lawrence Addo, explained that he received a call around 4:00 am that an accident has occurred in that area and so with much haste they arrived at the scene. True to their words, there was a deadly accident as a tipper truck with registration number GS3860-Z had crashed. According to an eye witness, the driver overspeed and as a result could not control the speed and drove into the bush. Inspector Addo explained that the body was deformed such that he could not identify the body so the people around helped the police out.
