A Form three (3) student of Miracle Senior High School, a private school in the Sunyani Municipality in the Bono Regional Capital is reported to have committed suicide by hanging in the school's Dining Hall.
The student who was identified as Leticia was seen around 9:45pm on Monday 17th May, 2021 hanging livelessly at the dining hall of the school which is located at Baakoniaba, a suburb of Sunyani.
The management of the school and the family of the deceased are tight-lipped on the matter, but information reaching us indicates that the family suspects foul play.
The body has since been deposited at the morgue of the Regional Hospital in Sunyani awaiting autopsy.
The Sunyani Municipal Police Command have initiated an imminent investigations into the matter and promised to get to the bottom of it.
The issue has however left the student body and school management in great shock, because Leticia showed no sign of a troubled student in any way and they are yet to come to terms with this unfortunate incident.
