Following the heavy downpour over the past few days, there have been major flooding issues in many parts of the country.
Most rivers are overflowing their banks coupled with flooding situations.
Unfortunate report earlier indicated that the bridge that connects the Cape Coast to Twifo Praso Road has been disconnected by the force of the overflowing river.
Cars can not pass over the road at the moment. Commuters are to kindly take note and reschedule their trips or find alternative routes to the place.

The road has been cut off by the rains at Jukwa bridge.
Motorists traveling between Cape Coast and Twifo Praso are therefore advised to use Cape Coast - Yamoransa - Assin Fosu - Twifo Praso road as the Authority mobilizes to solve the problem as soon as possible. We apologize sincerely for any inconvenience caused. Drivers should kindly take note.
