Kidnapping

More than 300 Nigerian girls missing.

Nigerian set to face another tragedy from bad people. It was not long ego that some girls were kidnapped by bukumharem and now more than 300 girls have been kidnapped in Nigeria by an unidentified gunman

According to the Police they believe the girls were taken to a forest after being kidnaped from their boarding school in Jangebe, Zamfara state, on Friday morning.

It is the latest mass kidnapping from schools in recent weeks. Armed gangs often seize schoolchildren for ransom.

In the Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari speech he condemned the latest kidnapping as "inhumane and totally unacceptable".

President Buhari then said that his administration will not succumb to blackmail by criminals who target naive school students in the expectations of huge ransom payments.

"Our primary objective is to get the hostages safe, alive and unharmed", he said

Mr Buhari said that although authorities could deploy "massive force against the bandits", there were fears that the schoolgirls could be used as human shields.
