Explosions are mostly seen in film, but they are rare in real life, unless in war zones. I was listening to DJ Ohemaa Woyeje's midday show when she mentioned an explosion she had personally witnessed. She was at the recording studio when she heard this loud noise, which she mistook for the second coming of Jesus Christ because it was too loud, she said. “When I heard the blast, I assumed Jesus Christ had finally arrived, as we had been told He would appear in the sky soon.”
When she came out, she discovered that it wasn't Jesus who had appeared, but rather a taxi that had exploded, causing irreparable damage to the vehicle. The car was running on petrol, which is why it caught fire and exploded. The driver was rescued by dismantling the vehicle.
A teenager who was driving by was struck by the explosion's shockwaves and had her hands and knees fractured to the point that the bones could be seen.
To prevent potential death, it is strongly recommended that you check your car before starting it on a regular basis.
