Road Accident

Tallest African man stops schooling as no sandal or shoe fits his feet (photos)

The young man, identified as Charles Sogley, known as "Charles the Taller", is now a welder apprentice at Ho after leaving school at Elementary School 5 in Ziope in Ziope's Agortime district.

"I dropped out of Elementary School 5 in Ziope in the Agortime Ziope area of the Volta region because I couldn't have sandals or shoes for my big feet," she laments in an interview with Joy News.

The third child, born to five children, has a foot of about 18 inches in addition to a height of 2.70m and is the tallest in his family.

Apart from not being able to get shoes that fit his feet, commercial vehicle drivers refuse to take him away, so he walks from everywhere.

“The drivers don't pick me up every time I stop because they say I'm too big and won't fit in their car. So I always go to work and come home unless someone is really touched to take me away. "

Charles asks for help to make his life more comfortable.

“I love it when people can help me with sandals and shoes that have to be designed especially for me. I also need clothes and a vehicle. I also asked the driver to pick me up when I stopped them,” Charles prayed.

Welding master Michael and colleagues described him as a hard worker and joined him for help to ease his discomfort.
