A New Patriotic Party Parliamentary confident about Kpone-Katamanso Constituency, Hopeson Yaovi Adorye has apologized for an assertion he made at the supportive of Alan Kyeremanten, "Aduru Woso Asanteman Health Walk" held in Kumasi.
As indicated by coordinators, the activity, which was hung on Saturday thirteenth August, 2022 pointed toward supporting their wellbeing for the mission to 'break the 8'.
Mr. Adorye is accounted for to have said during the walk that, "The NPP has a practice. Our custom is Busia, Danquah and Dombo. Danquah addresses Eastern Region and the base (south), Danquah addresses Ashanti Region and the Bono regions, while Dombo addresses Northern Region. The Dombos are dependably in the blend and fit as running mates to either a Danquah competitor or a Busia up-and-comer. That custom should proceed."
This assertion has brought about a kickback which has constrained Mr. Adorye to apologize.
In a public statement dated August 15, the previous MP for Kpone-Katamanso said: "Upon reflection, I understand that my assertion may either have been misconstrued and outraged a few loyalists, or purposely pivoted by political rivals for their off track goals. However much it isn't my inclination, it certainly was not my aim to make this misconception. I assume complete ownership for my activities and genuinely apologize to all who are annoyed."
Mr. Adorye utilized the potential chance to explain that, "I am neither an Operations Director for Alan Kyerematen nor mindful of any such mission group made. Asanteman has spoken, Alan Kyerematen is NPP's Unifier and the most ideal decision for triumph in 2024, and l am content with it."
