News coming in from the Eastern regional Police indicates that, three suspected armed robbers attacked a security personnel who was on duty guard at one bank at Abomosu in the Eastern region.
According to reports from the police, there were exchanges of gun shots from the armed robbers and the security personnel. The robbers were however defeated by the bank security after one of the robbers was shot dead. The body of the deceased was sewn about 120 meters from the gun with a gun shot wound in his throat. The body has been taken to the hospital pending autopsy.
The deceased robber was carrying along a crossbar and one BB cartridge alongside his phone.
Police are currently investigating this incident and looking for more evidence to catch the remaining two suspects.
This whole incident happened at Adonteng community bank at Abomosu in the Atiwa West District of the Eastern region. Persons in the community have heap praises on the security personnel for protecting their monies and also thank God for saving the life of the personnel.
