Why should Council of State refer an applicant for information to Metro TV for that information?

It seems people tend to do things their way because of their affiliation with the powers that be. It is becoming a canker that should not be tolerated. Following the banter between Paul Adom Okyere and to be fed a concerning his refund of ex-gratia paid to him, an aide to Togbe Afede requested information from the council of state concerning attendance of members to council meetings. Paul Adom has accused Togbe of absenting himself from meetings and also taking monies for transportation as he told them he stays in Ho which Togbe vehemently denied.

When the request was put to the council, the applicant was referred to Metro TV for the information as they have earlier requested the same information. Why should it be so? Are they trying to frustrate Togbe? Why should a state institution refer an applicant for information to a private entity? Is that what the law says? Is that what the RTI act says? We must be serious in this country. We should stop hiding behind our political cloaks to frustrate people. It won't auger well with us.

Attached is the letter directing the applicant to Metro TV for the information.
