When young men get into a major brawl, older men are expected to urge them to cease fighting. This is due to the widespread belief that old men are naturally endowed with wisdom and knowledge. Wisdom, it is said, "comes in old age to replace the mind." However, it appears that not every old man possesses this level of understanding.
The old men in your picture were videoed trading blows early in the morning, around 8:00 p.m. in Nigeria today, 2nd November 2021. The cause that sparked the battle was unknown, but these old men were fighting ferociously. These aged men appear to be between the ages of 40 and 60, based on their facial expression. The man in the white singlet reaches out to grab the man in the blue and throw him to the ground, but he is struck by his left leg.
The old man in the singlet struck the man in the blue shirt, knocking him out. This enraged the old man in the blue, who retaliated with a powerful punch. His hit was so powerful that the singlet-wearing old man collapsed to the ground.
Young men on the street attempted to separate these elderly men, but they were unwilling to let go of their rage. After seeing this video, some internet users said that what these elderly men did was horrible. What kind of man, at their age, would fight so early in the morning?
