Sports betting is the act of predicting the outcome of a game or a sporting event and placing some amount of money on it. Though sports betting is legal in Ghana but its adverse effect of the youth of the country is seemingly above its positive effect. It has made the youth of the country lazy as they are always looking for the easiest way to make some cool cash for themselves. Many people have preached against sports betting but it seems no one wants to pay attention to it.
The increase in sports betting has frustrated a pastor who couldn't take it anymore to rain curses on those who stake it. In a video sighted by TheProgrammeNews, a pastor is seen preaching against sports betting. According to the pastor, none of his church members will ever win a bet if he or she stake some. His explanation is that the phone we have Bible on shouldn't be used to stake bet. So he has therefore cursed anyone who will do that.
What do you think about this news. Is it good to stake bet as a Christian?
