Mama Pat, popularly called Agradaa has been trending for the past few days. Over the weekend, a series of allegations were levelled against for defrauding some of her church members. Agradaa has come clear and said she only raised funds and those who gave donated out of their freewill and not compulsion. According to some of those who were defrauded she rather asked them to bring monies so she doubles it.
The Police finally picked Agradaa yesterday and she is assisting with investigations as to what really happened. In a post on Facebook today, Monday, October 10, 2022, Afia Pokuaa, popularly called Vim Lady has sent a bold message to the President over the fate of those who were allegedly scammed by Agradaa.
Afia stated that President Akufo-Addo shouldn’t even think of trying to use the public purse or taxes of Ghanaians to refund the monies of those who were scammed. She added that it will be bloody if that thought of refunding even drops into the mind of the President. It is unknown why Afia Pokuaa will think that the President who even have the idea of paying monies to the affected victims.
Agradaa is currently in police custody and is expected to appear in court soon. Many including journalists like Johnnie Hughes have called for the victims of the fraud to be arrested as well by stooping so low and allowing themselves to be hoodwinked.
Interesting, last year Agradaa was arrested for scamming some people and was later released. She claimed she had turned born again after that and was recently installed as a reverend. She apologized at that conferment and asked for forgiveness. It is barely 3 months now and she has once again been accused of another criminal act. Many are watching to see what will happen next.
