Doris Lamptey was accused of assaulting her husband, Isaac Lamptey, after seven years of marriage and no children.
Isaac Lamptey, a mason and farmer, had returned home from Dodowa three weeks earlier after working there for two months when he was attacked by his wife, who had also returned from work three days earlier.
She asked me to assist her in opening her zip, which I did. After that, I went to shower and eat. She then instructed the children with us to close the gate.
"I went to bed, and she asked me to sleep in a supine position, so she put her head on me, but I didn't since I was weary."
"She left me because she thought I was dead." "I was able to get up and flee the room, crying for help," the victim recounted.
He claims they had never had a fight until she started faking a pregnancy.
He claimed that the case had been reported to the Nkawkaw Police Command for inquiry, but that the officers had neglected to take action to catch the perpetrator.
