A midwife at Ajumako Kwanyarko Community clinic in the central region Christiana Nyarkoa has called on Ghanaians for a support for a two year old son whose parent is mentally retarded. She said they discovered a 2 year old boy whose father always take him to the bush for hunting expedition during the day and at night at Ajumako Kwanyarko in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District of the Central Region. The midwife on her own good Samaritan went for the child and she is now taking care of his health but she needs money for feeding and his accommodation. She is therefore pleading with NGOs, Individuals and the Government to come to their aid to be able to take good care of the child as his live is in danger if he is allowed to stay with the man.
A visit to where the mentally retarded father Kofi Ntsie and his son lives by the Angel news reporter opayin Darko was captured a wooden structure where he sleeps the this innocent boy. The man confirmed to the reporter that he always goes to the hunting expedition with his son during the day and at night as the family of he himself and his wife have rejected them and since he doesn't have anybody to leave his son for when going for hunting, therefore has no option than to go with him.
The unit committee chairman, Mr. John Yamoah also confirmed that they have been seeing him going to hunting in the night and during the day with his 2 year old boy but there is no way out they can assist as they also depend on their peasant farming for survival therefore call on government and philanthropists for assistance.
