Richard Brown popularly known as Osebɔ is a Ghanaian fashion icon and CEO of Zara Shop Ghana. In an interview with Crime Check Foundation, he revealed lots of deep things about himself. He mentioned that he was named Osebɔ by his godfather Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo. This he thinks is because he is not fearful and is very bold like a lion.
A few days ago, Osebɔ called Crime Check Foundation and offered to help a mother who was sentenced to prison for stealing GHS 5 to feed her children. The woman was jailed because she was unable to pay her fine. Crime check foundation came in to pay her fine and she was released. Osebɔ offered to support the woman in business to earn a living and be able to provide for her children, which he did.
When asked what triggered him to help the woman he replied saying, giving and helping others is a gift he has from God from his mother's womb. He added that he is also called Seth which means a replacement. He his mother firstly gave birth to a girl who passed on. Her mother was a member of the Mozama Disco Kristo Church - a spiritual church in Ghana. He said during one of their conventions, while his mother was pregnant with him, she was prophesied to.
The prophecy was that she would give birth at home because her labour would be easy and she was not going to suffer. Another sign that was given concerning his birth which showed how special he was was that the moment he is birthed forth, all the children in the community would have to their house. This he said happened in the cause of his birth.
The prophecy again was that he would be loved by many and he would have a heart of giving and will do the work of God before he dies. Osebɔ added that because of this gift, he is a very compassionate man. He said that whenever he sees a person in tears, he breaks down and does everything possible to help such a person immediately.
