Residents of Osino in the Fanteakwa South District in the Eastern region have reacted to the deplorable state of Osino - Saamang Road.
Around 9:30am on Wednesday, September 7 2022, scores of irate residents had no option than to block the road to register their displeasure towards companies using their heavy trucks to destroy the road.
They insist the company construct their road before they can use it.
None could mention the name of the company but believe it's the mining companies around the area.

Osino - Saamang - Juaso road was previously awarded under the cocoa road under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama's administration but could not complete till his tenure ended.
There have been so many concerns and agitations on this road since then and residents seem not to have a solution to it for which reason they blocked the road today.
Police have not been at the seen but the situation has not turned riot.
