Thomas Nii Teytey, the Chief Fire Officer in the Swefi Wiawso municipality has called on all regional members to desist from the fake call they make.
According to him, the Ghana Fire Service office in Wiawso recently receives fake call and upon reach the so called destination, nothing like fire outbreak has happened.
Lamenting the story, he said the Fire tanker operate on fuel, hence any movement requires the car to be filled, and in addition, fake call do make personnels lose interest, and this can go ahead to affect legitimate fire outbreak call.
Hence, Nii Teytey is urging all those who engages in these practices to stop.
In addition, he also advised households to keep their houses properly, thus in this festive season (Easter), people must be careful to unplug the iron, and monitor other electrical gadget to prevent fire outbreak.
