Stop escorting unauthorized vehicles or face sanctions, Police Administration to Dispatch Riders

Police Dispatch Riders have been cautioned to stop providing escort services to unauthorized vehicles or face sanctions.
This was revealed in a Facebook post by the Ghana Police on their official Facebook wall on Thursday, 1st April, 2021. The post noted that this directive was relayed by Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danqua and COP Mr. Frederick Adu-Anim in behalf of the Director General of Police in a meeting with the Police Dispatc Riders at the Police Headquarters.
Leadership of the Police welfare and MTTD also urged Dispatch Riders to ride carefully and also ensure that they use the official Police service motors for official duties. The post further revealed that the riders have been advised to take their health seriously and to develop the habit of seeking periodic medical care.
The Dispatch Riders have also been assured by the Police Administration of their continuous commitment to their welfare.
