Very tight personnel in their various uniforms are seen guarding the town while the house of Richard Appiah inaccessible by anyone including the media.

Residents of Sunyani Abesim have commended the Ghana Police Service expecially, the acting Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akuffo Dampare for the immediate visit to the crime scene and ensuring proper security devoid of riots.
The inspector general of police Dr George Akuffo Dampare also assured the family of the deceased that the Ghana Police Service will do whatever it takes to bring down anyone in connection with the murder and ensure justice for the family.
