IGP Unleashes Hundreds Of Security Officials Into Abesim Township As More Stories Unfold

The Acting Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akuffo Dampare has unleashed hundreds of security officials into the Sunyani Abesim township as more stories unfolds.

The Sunyani Abesim township which the residence of Richard Appiah, the alleged murder of three young boys is located has since been declared a crime scene under a very tight security.

Very tight personnel in their various uniforms are seen guarding the town while the house of Richard Appiah inaccessible by anyone including the media.

According to the police, the essence of the tight security is to secure the place and keep the crime scene away from public interference for proper and thorough investigations.

Residents of Sunyani Abesim have commended the Ghana Police Service expecially, the acting Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akuffo Dampare for the immediate visit to the crime scene and ensuring proper security devoid of riots.

The inspector general of police Dr George Akuffo Dampare also assured the family of the deceased that the Ghana Police Service will do whatever it takes to bring down anyone in connection with the murder and ensure justice for the family.
