The issues of LGBTQ+ are being discussed all over all the the country. However, its being faced stiff opposition from most Ghanaians, day in day out new cases of people engaged in this act pops out. Just recently a young man who reportedly had engaged in sodomy was severely punished at Nkoranza. Not withstanding these, some people are secretly engaged in that act.
From Peace FM News, two gay patners have been arrested by the Police Command at the Kasoa new market. They are Prince Nyarto of 23 years and Evans Amoah also 22 years . According to report, Evans Amoah who comes from kumasi was looking for job through the social media. Prince Nyarto who happens to live at Kasoa and works at a restaurant therefore convinced Evans to come to kosoa and work with him at the restaurant.
After working at the restaurant for some period, Prince Nyarto urged Evans Owusu to engage in homosexuality in order to make more money. Evans therefore accepted this proposal. However, after sometime, Evans decided to quit the relationship since he was suffering from severe pain in his rectum as a result of the anal sex. Unpleasant about this, Prince Nyarto therefore hired some young men to beat Evans. Evans was therefore mercilessly beaten. Evans reported the incidence to the police and exposed everything to them. Currently, Prince is at the police custody while Evans is being taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
