Social Media User Questions Police Service On Biased Publication OF Sex Victim’s Picture.

Dear Ghana Police Service,

I just read online that the lady at the centre of the infamous ‘sex for prison break’ ("Fa Wo To Bɛgyɛ Bail") scandal has revealed that the officer on duty, L/C Isaac Amofa requested four (4) solid rounds of sex before he allowed her to escape.

According to the publication, the lady, Theresa revealed this to reporters after she was rearrested when she attempted to buy cigarettes in town. "During questioning, the young woman said she was purchasing packs of cigarettes in order to sell them and use the proceeds to help her child", the report added.

I n I is unable to wrap his head around the Police's decision to publish the image of Theresa online while concealing that of L/C Amofa. This is not fair to the young lady.

I should think there was consensus ad idem before this "batter" transaction took place. It's therefore my contention that in the name of equity, you either publish photographs of the irresponsible Police officer as well to make a balance or delete that of the young lady and render an unqualified apology to her.

You shouldn't lose sight of the stereotyping and psychological trauma your publication may put the lady into. Kindly do the needful.
