Who at all is advising policy at the Ministry of Communications? - Franklin Cudjoe quizzes

The president for IMANI Africa Mr Franklin Cudjoe has quizzed the person advising policy at the ministry of communications and digitalization.

According to him, their decision making and communication is poor and unplanned.

Following the announcement on the extension of the deadline for sim registration on Sunday 31st July, many kept asking why the ministry has waited until the deadline to extend the time.

Again, mandam Ursula Owusu Ekuful announced that there was going to be a launch of a self-service SIM registration App on Agust 2, which Ghanaians can use to register their own SIM cards, however it will come with a charge of GHS 5.00 when one uses it.

But the baffling question everyone is tempted to ask is why now? Shouldn't the Self-service SIM registration App had come earlier before the compulsory SIM cards registration announcement, or even be introduced the same time the Ministry asked Ghanaians to register their SIM cards?

However, our Ministery of Communication and digitalization comes to announce its App on their deadline date.

In view of this, the president of IMANI Africa quizzes "So who at all is advising policy at the Ministry of Communications?"
