3 Most Wanted Armed Robbers Arrested By The Police At Dodowa, Accra

On the night of Friday May 07, 2021, a group of three fully armed most wanted robbers have been arrested by the Greater Accra Regional Police Command after they have been intercepted by the police on the Accra-Dodowa road through police intelligence.

According to the police, these are armed robbers who have been operating in the system for quite sometime now; operating in the dark and have put people's lives in grave danger, hence the tag, "Most Wanted Armed Robbers."

Further intelligence led to the hideout of other armed robbers in the area, however, they have escaped capture. The police, however, assured the public that they will unrelentingly seek for and capture such criminals in our societies for good as soon as possible.

Information gathered by the police about these three (3) criminals reveals that they [the armed robbers] carry out their operations at shopping malls, packing lots, recreational centers, and other places of interest and scenery.

What they do is that they intercept people going to such places in a car or on foot and rob them of all they have: their money, mobile phones, other valuable and high-priced items they may be having. They also most of the time injure and kill people who try to repel them.

Speaking to UTV news reporter Michael Akrofi, the Greater Accra Regional Police Commander said that the robbers were in a Toyota vehicle with registration number GT 6078-15 when they were captured. They also had various riffles and AK-47 guns with which they operate.

The names of the criminals include Rudwick Ben, a 27-year-old man who claims to be a Lab Technician, Haji Yussif (Known is the gang as killer boss) also 29 years of age and claims to be a businessman. Finally, there's one Charles Blaize, 29 years old, who claims that he is unemployed. They are all Ghanaians but has been to Nigeria and The Gambia on several occasions just to escape being captured.

The police assured that they will not rest until the last armed robber is captured and dealt with in accordance with the laws of the land. He said that the police will continue to use its intelligence forces to locate hideouts of these armed robbers and make sure they are brought behind bars.
