A young teacher by the name of Blankson Aboagye has passed on at his house in Ajumako Ayan in the Central region. The 25 years old teacher was posted to the area in January and he stays in a rented room which he had hired in the town. Blankson is known to be a hardworking teacher who always reports working whenever he is in town. But yesterday, he did not report to school.
The teachers and other residents tried to reach out to him via phone but nothing was heard from him. They then marched to his house today and called a carpenter to break open his door. When they entered his room, they found his lifeless body lying in bed, which looked to them like he died in his sleep. They quickly called the police from Abura-Dunkwa and they came to remove the body to Abura-Dunkwa Government hospital for autopsy and other investigations.
According to residents, Blankson fell sick about a month ago which almost took his life. He spent several days at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital. However, he had recovered and looked fit until he met his untimely death. The cause of his shocking death can only be discovered after the autopsy.
