One out of four relationships enlisted at AMA in 2021 imploded

An aggregate of 79 standard relationships were broken up at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) in 2021, as indicated by information from the Assembly.

The Assembly, in 2021, enlisted an aggregate of 345 standard relationships, 79 of, which were broken up, demonstrating that, one out of four of the relationships enrolled fell.

They were commitment and Islamic relationships.

Normal reasons for the breakdown of the relationships were treachery, abuse, and kid non-support.

Mr Gilbert Nii Ankrah, Head of Public Affairs, AMA, told the Ghana News Agency, in a meeting on Monday that, the separation figures for 2020 were lower when contrasted with that of 2021.

In 2020, due to the episode of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Assembly didn't record any huge numbers, yet everything I can say is that the numbers expanded in 2021 when contrasted with that of 2020, he said.

Mr Ankrah said in 2021, out of an aggregate of 5403 statute relationships enrolled, just 1776 were led by the Assembly.

On the issue of separation, Mr Ankrah clarified that since mandate marriage had to do with the court and was legitimately disposed, the Assembly didn't have the ability to engage in the disintegration cycle of those relationships.

The separation cycles of those relationships are completely confined to the court.

He asked general society to go through the right techniques to enlist any type of marriage with the Assembly to keep away from disillusionments.

However relationships could be enrolled with different Assemblies, the AMA, he said, had a novel brand, and that relationships enlisted and directed with the Assembly has some type of power.

Mr Ankrah said: With the law marriage, after the marriage is enrolled with the Assembly, the data is distributed for a time of 21 days to take into account any items or in any case later, which the marriage can either be directed by the Assembly or any congregation guaranteed to do as such.
