Difficult moments for everyone. This is not the type of news everyone would want to wake up to. But unfortunately certain things are just not predictable.
On Tuesday President Joko Widodo visited villages that has been destroyed by the volcanic eruption and made a promise that the affected villages would be rebuilt as soon as possible.
He also pledged to rebuild infrastructures including the main bridge connecting Lumajang to other cities.
Residents who were affected will be relocated within the next six months. And at the moment each family will receive $34.50 per month until their new house is provided.
