Ghanaians do not need people from other parts of the world to enlighten them about the rent issues they have in their country. Rent fee has been a problem since time immemorial and the latest one that Nana Aba Anamoah has talked about is even worrisome. And this has made Nana to go hard on the rent department in the country.
Nana Aba Anamoah could no longer keep mute about these kinds of issues in the country at the moment. Just this morning, Nana Aba Anamoah posted a message about rent issue that someone had sent to her.
Pertaining to the message sent to Nana Aba Anamoah, an unknown lady who identified herself as a young girl, revealed that, her landlord has increased her rent by 97%. She said, that she was paying ¢130 but her landlord increased it to ¢250.
The landlord resulted the blame to the hardship in the country and the fact that building materials are now expensive. The girl was amaze that the landlord can increase the rent fee in such a manner and hard time like this. So she asked Nana Aba Anamoah to deliberate about this issue and do something about it.
Nana Aba Anamoah in reacting to the message revealed that, "The rent department is all hat and no cattle." Meaning that they only talk but do not put their words into actions.
Nana Aba Anamoah also added that, the lady's issue is a reflection of the general rent problems we have in Ghana.
She wrote, "This Lady's ordeal is a reflection of the general problems of renting in Ghana."
Below is her post.
