People living in the Temale metropolis would have to experience water shortage, this information was let known by the management of Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL)
Why the water shortage?
The Nawuni Water Treatment Plant in the Northern Region will temporary shutdown as a way to protect GWCL installations due to the high water levels from the spillage of the Bagre Dam.
Sagnarigu, Tamale, and Kumbungu and other areas residents were advised by the management of GWCL to store enough water so that the shutdown will not affect them
They also assured customer that the water supply will continue as soon as the river level reached its standard operating levels
Meanwhile, there are many other areas in the country that have been experiencing water shortage due to low water level in the dam
Apart from that, the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) making all regions have enough in their homes
