Reasons Behind Nana Agradaa's Arrest And The Shutdown Of Her Two TV Stations.

Self-styled and outspoken priestess Patricia Asiedu known widely as Nana Agradaa has been arrested, according to TheGhanaReport.

According to the news portal, Nana Agradaa was arrested as part of security agencies' attempts to crack down on spiritualist activities.

State security has also shut down her two television channels, Thunder TV and Ice 1 TV, seizing equipment and other properties.

It is captured in the report that the two stations were raided earlier today for operating without a license with its authorization being revoked by the National Communications Authority in March 2020.

Following the ritual murder of a ten-year-old boy at Kasoa, calls for the government to intervene in the activities of charlatans posing as spiritualists have grown louder.

According to report, she was asked to shutdown the TV stations way back last year.But she refused to comply with the orders.
