A 24-year-old level-300 marketing student of the Cape Coast Technical University was discovered in the Central Region without a vagina.
DSP Irene Oppong, the Public Relations Officer of the Central Regional Police Command, stated that around 9:00 p.m. on Friday, they received information that a female adult was found dead by the roadside at OLA Estate near the OLA College of Education in Cape Coast, and they went to the scene to find the body of an unknown person lying naked with her vagina cut off.
"A female adult was found lying dead on the roadside at OLA Estate near OLA College of Education, Cape Coast, at about 9:00 p.m. on May 13, 2022," police said.
"Police arrived on the site and discovered the body of an unknown woman, approximately 24 years old, lying naked with her private portion vagina chopped off and bruises all over her body."
DSP Irene Oppong said, "The body has been deposited at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital mortuary pending further investigation."
Meanwhile, the police have stated that they are conducting inquiries.
