The brouhaha over the alleged Takoradi Pregnant woman is getting serious. Last week news broke out that the woman was missing and the case was reported as a case of kidnap. However, on Tuesday news again broke that the woman had been found and after examinations it was found that there was no pregnancy. This got many wondering as to how a pregnant woman will be kidnapped and later she will be found without her pregnancy.
Yesterday, the Western Regional Minister in an interview said upon a doctor’s report it was discovered that she was never pregnant. The Police also added their voice and said that the woman was never kidnapped according to reports. In a press release the police said they suspect foul play and have arrested 3 people in connection to the whole incident.
In a twist of events, the family members and some loved ones have laid curses on the police and the regional minister for trying to deceive the populace. According to the family, they are calling on their gods to descend and deal with the perpetrators peddling false rumors that Josephine Mensah was never pregnant.
They maintained that if the gods were indeed alive then they should strike anybody who is trying to twist facts and arrest wrong people. The coming g days will be interesting as the back and forth between the police and the family of Josephine Mensah continues. Josephine herself is still recovering and receiving treatment from the hospital.
