Ghana is not thriving due to poor leadership; rather, the people who are supposed to be decent citizens are destroying the country. I've seen that in this country, if anything belongs to the government, it receives different treatment than privately owned firms. Those who seek to safeguard state-owned properties are sometimes despised by those who are unconcerned. How do we fix the country together with this attitude?
The recently built Pokuase Interchange, which was commissioned a few months ago by His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo, may not only serve the function for which it was built. People began selling under the Interchange before it was commission, and they were fired by officials. An anonymous woman has learned guts to set up a night chop bar business joint under a piece of the Interchange, according to tragic news from Pokuase this afternoon.
The unfortunate part of the story is that stupid people were spotted shopping and having a good time. This is highly inappropriate, and anyone responsible for it should be apprehended by authorities and harshly punished in order to serve as a deterrence to others.
